I. General provisions
The Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine is a scientific and research institution whose scope of activity involves all the areas connected to broadly defined occupational medicine, such as: diagnostics, treatment and prevention of occupational diseases, occupational health, epidemiology, radiation protection, experimental toxicology, environmental toxicology, work physiology and psychology, and organization of occupational medicine service.
Each website user acknowledges and accepts all the terms of the Regulations.
Using the http://www.imp.lodz.pl/home_en website is free of charge and available to any Internet user.
It may be necessary to log in, in order to use some of the website’s resources.
Proper display of the Portal’s sites and trouble-free use of the services provided electronically by http://www.imp.lodz.pl/home_en is possible on condition that the User’s system and software fulfill the following minimum technical requirements:
- Netscape 6.0, Internet Explorer 6.0 (and later versions) and Mozilla Firefox 2 (or later version),
- properly working software to use Java scripts and applets should be installed in all the search engines Flash 5 (or later versions), Quicktime and Acrobat Reader software will be necessary in order to display certain objects,
- the website is optimized for 1024 x 768 display resolution.
The Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine does not bear any liability for the technical problems or limitations arising from the inadequacy of the system and software for the requirements stated above.
The Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine does not assume any liability for the Portal’s users or third parties for the damages, both direct and indirect, arising from the usage discordant with the Regulations.
Portal includes both the editorial materials and materials included in other publishing houses and services (with the consent of their respective owners). The Portal’s publisher assumes no liability for the consequences of the use of the publications and materials which the Portal includes. Nevertheless, the publisher undertakes to make every effort to ensure that the published information is accurate and reliable.
Text materials, graphics and IT solutions included in the http://www.imp.lodz.pl/home_en Portal are protected by law, in particular by the provisions of the Act of 4 February 1994 on copyrights and derivative rights (Journal of Laws No. 24, Item 83 with subsequent amendments).
The Users’ personal and contact details are used to the extent necessary for the use of the website and in the case when a User gives consent to process the data, including marketing purposes.
Due to constant technological development, changes in the applicable laws and expanding the offer of studies, the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine reserves the right to modify the Regulations.
The provisions of the Civil Code shall be applicable in issues not governed by the Regulations.
